The only one that doesn’t drink milk like juice is me. This morning we finished our second gallon of milk. I had just bought both gallons on Saturday, so that will give you a little idea on how quickly we go through milk. I told Cree this morning that if I have to buy 3 gallons of milk a week, it might be cheaper to buy a cow. A gallon of milk is over 3 dollars here.
Tonight, I was going to make grilled cheese sandwiches but we didn’t have any milk for me to make bread, I had to come up with something else. While trying to find a recipe for bread that didn’t involve milk, I saw a recipe for soft pretzels. That sounded good so I made pretzels. Everyone enjoyed them.
Well, pretzels are delicious but not a main dish, so I needed something to serve with the pretzels. We don’t have anything simple but tomato paste stood out to me. I made tomato soup from tomato paste, another first for me. Turned out okay.
Matthew is more vocal every day. He loves to play on his tablet. He loves to go outside, always asking to go somewhere, either school or shopping or church.
Liz is doing well in school. She has homework every night and does pretty well with that. She tells me that she is enjoying her new school.
Pretzels look yummy. Wish I could of had one
